What a surprise packet Barry turned out to be! When we finally got around to tasting and testing Barry 3 or 4 years ago we were blown away by the taste and durability after harvest. Raised at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station, Geneva, U.S.A. Selected in 1936 and introduced commercially in 1957. Fruits are firm and sweet with an aromatic flavour.  Medium to large fruit with an intense solid dark red skin. Lasts 3 months in storage.
