Tulare Walnut (Juglans regia 'Tulare') is a Californian-bred English walnut variety valued for its excellent nut quality, and vigorous growth. It was developed at the University of California, Davis and released in the 1960s. Tulare is prized by both commercial growers and home orchardists for its relatively upright shape, strong limbs, and abundant mid-season crop of large, smooth-shelled nuts.
- Uses: Eating fresh, baking, cooking, preserving, oil
- Pollination: Partially self-pollinating; improved with pollination from other varieties e.g. 'Chandler', 'Franquette'
- Harvest: Mid-season (March–April)
- Chill requirements: Suitable for temperate regions; moderate chill hours
- Size: 12–15 m high × 10 m wide
- Attributes: High yields, vigorous and upright tree, hardy once established
- Features: Large, smooth-shelled nuts with light kernels, flavourful; productive and consistent; excellent nut quality

Trees are grown on their own roots propagated from seed, not grafted.
