The Tai-Haku Flowering Cherry (Prunus 'Tai-Haku') has large single white flowers to 6 cm wide, and pink buds from October. The new leaves in spring are a bronze colour, becoming green in summer, then orangey yellow in autumn. It has attractive smooth dark brown bark, and can grow to 5-7 m tall developing a broad crown. Awarded the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (UK).
