The Red Flowering Crabapple (Malus ioensis ‘Rubra’) has attractive dark green leaves with a copper hue becoming deep orange to red in autumn, and impressive single reddy-pink flowers in spring that become pinker as they mature. Also known as Malus ioensis 'Purpurea' (Rubra).
