Pink Lady™ Apple (Malus domestica ‘Cripps Pink’*) is one of Australia’s most successful apple cultivars, developed in Western Australia by horticulturist the late John Cripps AO from a cross between ‘Golden Delicious’ and ‘Lady Williams’ in 1973. Producing attractive pink-red fruit with crisp, dense flesh and a well-balanced sweet-tart flavour, it has become one of the world’s most popular fresh-eating apples. The fruit stores well and ripens late in the season, making it a valuable variety for home orchards in temperate regions.
