Magnolia x soulangeana 'Cleopatra' (PBR) has furry grey buds followed by large goblet-shaped red purple flowers in winter/spring and can flower again in summer. Large, dark green leaves appear after the flowers. A delightful small specimen tree, fits well into a large border. An ideal plant for a large container. Deciduous. Prune after flowering.
