Grape 'Early Muscat' (Vitis vinifera 'Early Muscat') is one of our favourite eating grapes at Heritage Fruit Trees. Yellow-green, medium sized fruit, strong muscat flavour. Better known for producing table (eating) grapes and non-alcoholic grape juice than wine. Has been used for wine in Oregon and the wines showed notes of citrus blossom, green tea and perfume. It is the creation of grape breeder Dr Harold Olmo, whose influential career spanned most of the mid-20th Century. A crossing of 'Muscat Hamburg' and 'Skolokertek Kiralynoje'.
