Kobushi Magnolia, M. kobus, also called Mokryeon, native to Japan and Korea flowers in early spring with fragrant, white blooms appearing on bare wood. Individual flowers are around 10cm in diameter. Foliage is dark green during summer turning yellow in autumn.
Grows to around 8m tall with mature specimens spreading up to 10m. A brilliant tree for gardens of all sizes.
