Fiscus Carica 'Green Ischia' also known as 'Verte' has been growing in Europe for Centuries. Considered a better producer in short growing seasons than most figs. The medium to large fruits are green when ripe, which may help to fool birds who tend to go for darker, contrasting coloured ripe fruit. Moderately sweet flavour.
