Ficus Carica 'Black Ischia' is an Italian variety from the Island of Ischia. It has dark, almost black skin except at the apex where it is greenish. The flesh is deep red and sweet, ripening a little after Black Genoa. It is a vigorous tree that often bears a breba crop.
