Vaccinium corymbosum 'Denise' is tall cold tolerant bush bearing very large and round, medium blue fruit with red around stem end when ripe. Considered an excellent fresh eating berry. Attractive red autumn foliage.
- Pollination: self-fertile but cross-pollination with a variety with the same bloom time produces larger berries and larger yields
- Position: acidic soil, excellent drainage, full sun to part shade
- Type: Northern highbush deciduous, high chill
- Size: to 1.8m tall
- Harvest: late Dec to early Feb
