Black Birch 'Betula Nigra' or River Birch is a medium deciduous tree which is known for it's incredible peeling bark, vigour and fast growth rate. Large pyramidal, upright shape. Bright green, serrated, diamond-shape foliage which deepens to a darker green, before turning butter to pale yellow in autumn. Leaves are moderately scorch resistant. Can be grown as a single trunk or multi-stemmed tree.
