Farm update 7 July 2026
Posted by Kate Blood on 9th Jul 2026

It's been another busy week at the farm! We're washing, grading, labelling and stowing bareroot trees as orders continue to head out daily, with regular trailers to the Beaufort Post Office and customers collecting by appointment.
Rune has been busy propagating figs and oak acorns, while Tesh has been engraving labels. Last weekend we welcomed a wonderful group from South Australia, the ACT, New South Wales and Victoria for our cider workshop.
In the farmhouse we've been making the most of the last of the season's Stewart's Seedling (Ballarat) apples in puddings and enjoying plenty of pears with cheese. Meanwhile, the alpacas have appreciated a few extra treats on frosty mornings, the pink flowering apricot is brightening the garden, and we were delighted to discover a beautiful indigenous smooth cage fungus in our native grassland.
