Capital Ornamental Pear (Pyrus calleryana 'Capital') is the narrowest of the Callery pears with a mature spread of around 3 m and height of 10 m to 12 m. It can therefore be used along driveways and as a screen in the narrowest of planting areas. Great spring blossom, followed by glossy green leaves throughout the growing season and a brilliant finish in autumn. All this in a hardy tree suitable for Australian conditions. It will benefit from watering in the first few years until roots have found ground water.
