A much-loved old Rugosa rose, Blanc Double de Coubert (Rosa ‘Blanc Double de Coubert’) is prized for its pure or near white, semi-double blooms and intoxicating clove fragrance. Flowers open from shapely buds through spring and summer, followed by bright orange hips in autumn. Hardy, healthy and tolerant of salt, wind and poor soils — a rose for tough spots that still delivers beauty and scent in abundance.
