Worcester Pearmain Apple (dwarf)

$31.95

Rated one of the very best. Raised by Mr Hale of Swan Pool, near Worcester, England. Believed to have been a Devonshire Quarrenden seedling. Introduced by Smith of Worcester in 1874 and soon becoming an important commercial variety in England. Received a First Class Certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1875. Fruits have firm, white, a little juicy flesh with a sweet and pleasant flavour. Leave to fully ripen on the tree for the strawberry flavour and colour to develop and eat soon after picking.
