Originating in Gloucestershire dating from around 1886 Green Horse Perry Pear is an important variety for perry makers as a component and a varietal. Attractive large, rounded, green-yellowish fruit with orange highlights. Also suitable for preserving. High acid/low tannin. Medium sharp variety.
