The bark of the Silver Birch (Betula pendula) is an attractive silver-white that contrasts beautifully with the toothed-edged deciduous foliage that turns a beautiful golden yellow in autumn. It grows into a pyramidal shape and the tips of the branches hang gracefully. Looks beautiful grown in groves of multiple trees and in avenues. Will need supplementary irrigation in hot dry sites.
