Winter update From Glenview Park 15 July 2026

From Glenview Park
Welcome to From Glenview Park, our journal of life at Heritage Fruit Trees.
From our home in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range near Beaufort, western Victoria, we'll share the changing seasons, behind-the-scenes stories from the nursery, and the people, plants and wildlife that make Glenview Park such a special place.
Some updates will follow the rhythm of the seasons as trees come into flower, fruit ripens and autumn colour arrives. Others will take you behind the scenes as we propagate, lift, prune, pack and ship thousands of bareroot trees each winter. Along the way we'll share new projects, helpful tips, wildlife sightings, interesting visitors and, occasionally, a few of the unexpected moments that come with life on a working farm.
Whether you're waiting for your order, planning your orchard, or simply enjoy seeing what happens behind the scenes, we hope you'll enjoy following life From Glenview Park.

Winter update
A string of beautiful sunny winter days has been a welcome reward after some very frosty starts.
Kate has continued the ongoing task of improving the website, adding new content, growing guides and helpful information to make it an even more useful resource for home orchardists.
Meanwhile, Rosemary has been busy picking and packing orders—including some very large ones—in all kinds of winter weather, while Chad continues trimming and bagging tree roots ready for shipping.
Rob has been filming a new unpacking video to help customers give their bareroot trees the best possible start. Between filming sessions, he's also been sowing grass seed in the pear garden, which continues its recovery after the February 2024 bushfire.
Thank you for visiting us From Glenview Park. We look forward to welcoming you back as the seasons change.
