Farm update 3 June 2026

Winter preparations are well underway on the farm, with raspberries being lifted and bundled and this season's apricot trees now coming out of the ground ready for the bare-root season ahead.

Last weekend we enjoyed hosting the Firewise Garden Tour, where visitors were able to see the farm and sample some of the pears from our pear garden. We'll be continuing the conversation at another Firewise Landscaping Forum event in Beaufort on Saturday 13 June from 10 am–12 pm.

We're also making the most of the final autumn colours before winter arrives. This week's standout has been the beautiful Cleveland Select Ornamental Pears, which are putting on a spectacular display. And after a dry spell, the welcome rain has been greatly appreciated across the farm.
