Booking confirmation

Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received.

Biosecurity

Biosecurity is critical. Please do not bring fruit, fruit trees or any plant material from fruit trees onto our property. If you would like us to identify a pest or disease, please bring photographs only.

Arrival

Please do not arrive before the nominated arrival time, as we'll be busy preparing for the workshop and caring for the nursery and animals.

If you arrive early, Beaufort is only five minutes away and has several cafés and shops where you may like to spend some time.

Running late?

If you're delayed, please send us a text on 0491 312 388 (text messages only) with your expected arrival time. We'll do our best to help you catch up.

Cancellations and refunds

• More than 4 calendar weeks before the workshop: Full refund.
• Between 2 and 4 calendar weeks before the workshop: 50% refund.
• Less than 2 calendar weeks before the workshop: No refund.

Total Fire Ban

If a Total Fire Ban is declared for the South West Fire District on the workshop day (normally announced by 4:00 pm the previous day), the workshop may be postponed, generally by one week, or cancelled.

If this occurs, we'll notify all attendees by email no later than 6:00 pm on the evening before the workshop.

Children

Children under 16 may accompany an attendee at no charge, provided they do not inconvenience other participants by taking limited seating or causing disruption.

There are no child-minding facilities. Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.

Dogs and other pets

Sorry, pets are not permitted.

Clothing

Workshops often include walking around the farm.

Please wear:

• Comfortable enclosed footwear suitable for uneven ground and long grass.
• Weather-appropriate clothing.
• A hat for sun protection.
• Waterproof clothing and footwear if wet weather is forecast.
• Bring a water bottle.

Photographs

You're welcome to photograph workshop content for your own reference.

Please respect the privacy of others by not photographing attendees, our home or private buildings without permission.

Note-taking

Please bring your own notebook and pen if you'd like to take notes.

Workshop cancellation

If we need to cancel a workshop due to insufficient bookings, illness or another unforeseen circumstance, we'll endeavour to provide at least five days' notice and will refund your workshop fee in full.
