Dwarf stone fruit trees can be maintained at around 2 metres tall with suitable annual pruning. While some fruit may appear in the first year or two, substantial crops can be expected from the third year after planting. Trees should be staked or trellised to resist strong wind gusts. Thin out crops in early summer or support heavily laden branches as fruit matures.
